1st Record: Argentina/Atlantic Ocean (Pisanó et al. 1971 (as C. intestinalis in figs 1, 3, 6, 8, and 9, following Hoshino and Nishikawa 1985). See also Pisanó et al. 1972 (as C. intestinalis in figs 1 and 3). One of the most common species in Puerto Madryn waters, cited by Schwindt et al. 2020
