Invasion Description
Date of 1st Record: Foster City/CA/Foster City Lagoon, South San Francisco Bay (1988, Greenberg et al. 1996) The date refers to the first observation of medusae in the lagoon. Later morphological and molecular studies indicated that these medusae were distinct from the native A. labiata (Greenberg et al. 1996).
