1st Records: WA/Southern end of Willapa Bay (10/31/09, Nishizawa et al. 2014, 46 22 31.07 N); Hammond/OR/ Trestle Bay (Jetty Lagoon), Columbia River Estuary (10/31/09, Nishizawa et al. 2014, 46°13?30.03?N, 123°59?29.70?W); Seaside/OR/Necanicum River Estuary (10/31/09, Nishizawa et al. 2014, 46°01 02.60 N, 123°55 18.70 W); Wheeler/OR/Nehalem River Estuary (10/31/09, Nishizawa et al. 2014, 45°41 15.05 N, 123°53 20.63 W); Toledo State Airport, Toledo/OR/Yaquina River Estuary (10/31/09, Nishizawa et al. 2014, 44 35 50.57 N, 123 56 15.78 W). Juvenile worms were collected in Washington-Oregon estuaries on October 28-81, 2009, and reared in a Japanese laboratory at 18 C, until they metamorphosed into adult epitokes (Nishizawa et al. 2014).
