Invasion Description
1st Reocr: Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal/South Africa/Indian Ocean (10/15/2015, Griffiths 2018, 33º44?25.52?S; 30º27?32.72?E). These insects occupy a very limited habitat on asandy shore below a rubbble breakwater. They may have been introduced before the end of regular commerical shipping in 1902, after which most freight was trasnported by rail. This eawig has not yet been reported elsewhere in South Africa.
