1st record:OR/Coos Bay (1970, Carlton 1989) CA/Pacific Ocean (1988, USNM 123124, U.S. National Museum of Natural History 2015, 41.3472, -124.492, 524 m) This deep-water collection off northerm California probably represents a naitve cryptic species.
