Invasion Description

1st Record: Woods Hole/MA/Eel Pond, Vineyard Sound (2011, James T. Carlton, personal communications 11/22/2011, 12/16/2011, ; ICES 2012.. 'It formed *flourishing,* impressive colonies there this summer'. Some colonies survived the winter of 2011-2012, but the population is not yet considered established (ICES 2013, in press).
