Invasion Description

1st Record: Albany area/NY/Mohawk River (Lewis 1872, cited by Strayer 1987). No specimens were found in a 2008 survey of the tidal fresh river (Coote and Strayer 2009), but it's possible that this snail was missed or overlooked.
