1st established record: Sambro/Nova Scotia (Atlantic Ocean) (1996, Vercaemer et al. 2003)
1st Record: Point Pleasant, Halifax/Nova Scotia/Atlantic Ocean. Reared in racks- some natural spawning but no settlement. Culture is dependent on hatchery (1969, Grant et al. 1989).
