1st Record (introduced range): Woods Hole/MA/Vineyard Sound-Buzzards Bay (1898, M. A. Bigelow, in Sumner et al. 1913; Sumner 1909; Carlton et al. 2011).
Native range- The northern limit of the native range of this barnacle is unclear. It was not included in the 'Crustacea of New Jersey' by Fowler (1911), but was listed for Ocean City NJ by Pilsbry (1916). We have treated this record as native.
