1st record? Venice/Italy/Lagoon of Venice (1872, Innocenti 2006) [Note- Southward (1998) disputes the introduced status of A. amphitrite in the Mediterranean, citing his identification of this barnacle in an excavation of a 2000 year-old Carthaginian naval base in Tunis.]
