Invasion Description

Native within southern part of region, but first collected in Peter the Great Bay, Vladivostok, Russia in 1970.. This barnacle has been found on ships in Peter the Great Bay, but has not become established there (Zyagintsev et al. 2011).

Geographic Extent

Honshu/Japan/Toyama Bay (1939, Utinomi 1970); Maizuru, Honshu/Japan/Sea of Japan (Utinomi 1970); Oki Islands/Japan/Sea of Japan (Utinomi 1970)
